Oral Bible Team to Costa Rica

We are excited to continue "Round Two" of the Oral Bible Project in Costa Rica - begun in February, 2010. We will leave on August 3, bringing ReachGlobal missionaries, Nick and Kris Doneff.

We met Nick in Papua New Guinea, last Fall, where we all agreed that his wife, Kris was the perfect person to recruit to the US Orality Team. We are thankful to God that she said, "yes".

On arrival to Costa Rica, we will meet the Oral Bible Project leader from Nicaragua, Pastor Santiago Curbelo.

We frequently post updates about Santiago and his work among the Miskitu people of northern Nicaragua and southern Honduras. He will assist us with teaching and will also learn from missionaries Mark and Meg Kuzdas, who have planted churches among Nicaraguan refugees in Costa Rica.

We anticipate a rich time of "iron sharpening iron" this week!

Please pray for the following:

-That nothing would get in the way of what God has in mind for this trip!

-4 Oral Bible workshops and Evangelistic outreaches with Kuzdas' leadership team at Iglesia Nueva Vida in Los Guido

-2 Oral Bible presentations in Higuito, at a church planted by LAM missionaries, Bob and Ann Jeffery

-Introduction of the Oral Bible concept to missionaries and pastors of the Evangelical Free Church in Costa Rica

-Health and safety for us and for Pastor Santiago Curbelo as we travel
